And so... It begins.

There was a time when the Four Planes existed as one. The energies of Invention, Imagination, Memory and Magic were joined in a single plane of untold power. This was not to last; the combined energies became unstable and the Great Plane shattered. What became of it's inhabitants is unknown, but that does not matter. This plane will rise to take it's place, the Plane of Magic has chosen us to be it's servants; And we will do everything we can to ensure it's ascension.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This is where I'll post everything you need to know about my tabletop RPG Shattered Magic. Don't know what that is? Don't panic. Shattered Magic is a fantasy themed tabletop roleplayig game based around a d12 system. It's set in the Plane of Magic, a place where the laws of physics don't seem to always apply. Well, not in the way they do here. The players each take the role of a Greater Demon, a creature capable of altering the world around them with just a twitch of their fingers. They are served by Lesser Demons, these form the majority of the workforce and military. There's also many other creatures and races, but I'll go into more detail in a later post. For now, all you need to know is that they are all very powerful if used correctly.

 From reading this you may be thinking that this is just a giant magical slaughterfest. Well, if you want to have a large bounty on your head and an entire species trying to steal your soul, go right ahead. Shattered Magic is a game as much about strategy, manipulation and intrigue as it is about war. Careful use of spies and skillful manipulation of your peers are more powerful than the deadliest weapon.
